Blimpo Forest: Major Graphics Update!
Blimpo Forest now looks much more stylized, as I've used some anime shaders I had from an old bundle to add some shininess to the blimpos, and overall give the game a more slick and saturated look.
Also some refactors to the way that the item interaction system works, before the player script would check what it's hovering over and then check through a set of valid interactions it could do. Now the player script gives the thing it's hovering over all the information about what it's holding and its state, and the interactable holds the logic for deciding what's a valid interaction. This makes the logic a lot cleaner and opens up for expanding the different things the player could interact with.
The game's appearance with the camera angle and cursor are heavily inspired by Viva Pinata, but I really didn't think much further about taking from that game. In further thinking, I think I'd like to make this game a combination of Viva Pinata and chao garden. What if you could get other things than just blimpos?
